Ch 5 Page 27

Hey all, sorry for the long break in updates. Normally I don't say much, because it gets repetitive, but lately a lot of life/health problems popped up and to be honest I've been feeling incredibly beat, so I've been trying to get these pages out when I have a rare moment of energy. As always, thanks for your patience and kind messages. I don't always have the energy to respond, but I see them and appreciate the comments. ( ˘ ᵕ ˘♡) Enjoy the update? Show the love via Ko-Fi!

  1. Hey Michelle, I hope you’re feeling well, and I hope that these health concerns that you have been having lately are nothing too serious. You’re an amazing and understanding person, and you’ve been so incredibly patient and awesome with all of your readers. Don’t give up, and don’t let life get you down. We’re all rooting for you, and I hope things for you get back on track soon.

    1. I second that!

    2. I’m lucky to have such amazing readers :’)

  2. My turn to be repetitive, because I’ve this to all too many webcomic creators: YOU come first. And you taking care of yourself is a good thing. I very much appreciate the gift that is this webcomic, so I’m more than happy to wait however long it takes. Take care, and good luck!

Also? That guy deserves a beatdown. Or at least a sarcastic remark.

    1. Well said–on both subjects! ^^

    2. Honestly the repetition is appreciated!! Because sometimes I need these things drilled into my skull.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and patience :’) <3

    3. Yup, bigotry is alive in 2050. I started to use the stock phrase ‘alive and well’, but bigotry is always sick, even when it’s strong. Especially when it’s strong. Gah! Now I’ve got myself angry at a guy who doesn’t even exist. Rowrbazzell! (probably not spelled right, that’s a ‘swear’ from the Pogo comics, if anyone is old enough to remember them).

I’ll take one other thing from Pogo: Grundoon, a very young… I’m not sure what… who only said one intelligible thing: “Jes’ fine!”. So from him to you, hoping you are, “Jes’ fine.”

  3. For anyone curious, the story for ‘A child of four could understand this’ is now posted at https://stonefoot67.tumblr.com/. It’s the 1st (and only, so far) entry in my 1st blog and I’ve gotten my first ever ‘tumblr like’.

    1. @Stonefoot – Hey, I read your Tumblr post, and I’m happy that you shared it! I think if anyone happens to be checking back here for the next update they should take some time out to read it (it’s only about a 5 minute read you guys!). Speaking of Groucho Marx, I was listening to the song “Smile” sung by Nat King Cole, and composed by Charlie Chaplin today. Not sure why, but it popped into my head after I finished reading your post. Maybe it was the mustaches? Anyway, just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your Tumblr post. Have a good one Stonefoot, and remember to smile!

  4. I don’t comment to much anymore but I did want to say I hope you get to feeling better Michelle. I love your strip you are always so engage with your readers. And your artwork is always so amazing, the story is very good to! I am always eager to see an update but you take as much time as you need to get better we will be here. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Howard! I really appreciate your comments! <3 I think I'm on the upswing now, so I'm working to get a new update out this week. Thank you SO much for your patience. I'm fortunate to have such kind readers. ♥( ´罒`*)

  5. And of course no futuristic sci-fi story about gene mods would be complete without some genetic purists pissing in the punch bowl.

Are these guys just individual bigots or are they part of a hate group.
