Gee! Midori took out three spybots with a random piece of pipe (granted that one still had some recoverable video), and now we discover that she’s, Surprise!, tough. Who would have thought….
OK, everyone.
So, not really surprised, but impressed. Had I mentioned that I really like Midori?
I can’t tell yet whether I’m more curious about her past or impressed with her present. Anyway, time (and Michelle) will tell. I will wait and see. (not ‘I can’ but ‘I will’ given that I have no choice)
For the record, I like all the characters, as portrayed. Each is their own person, identifiable by personality as well as appearance. In other words, the characterization is as good as the art and the dialogue: All excellent.
I’m really glad! I do my best to ensure each character’s unique and feels like their own person, someone who’s narrative isn’t confined to the pages they’re on, if that makes sense.
And yeah, haha, Midori is tough… though maybe tough isn’t always the best thing!
While I was anticipating some drunken shenanigans (karaoke anyone?), I’m still glad Ren stepped in and pulled the plug on this one. There’s fun, and then there’s out of hand and I don’t think Grey is in the mood for things to get out of hand 😛
Ah well, others can still have their fun, but Midori’s cut off for the night it seems. You’re right, Grey probably didn’t consider kind of havoc he’s inviting from a very strong girl with bad impulse control!

Aside from barf-clean up detail, I wonder if Ren has realized yet that they’ll have to wait for Midori to sober up before they can go breaking-and-entering….
I love grays face in that 3rd panel, he is like “wow she actually did it” lol! Its gonna be interesting to see what Midori will do buzzed. I mean the girl already has problems with impulse control… This could get funny lol.
